Yankees hit bottom

The baseball season is under way and much to everyone's surprise, the New York Yankees find themselves tied for last place with the lowly Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the AL East. This despite the biggest payroll in baseball of over $200 million.

The Yankee woes made me wonder again about the correct time of the April 22 1903 Yankee chart. The 4.30 pm time that's out there didn't seem to fit too well and now seems to fit even less so: that chart has 14 Virgo rising which puts Jupiter very close to the ascendant. Hardly what one would expect from a terrible start of 11-18.

After looking at it, I reckon the Saturn Rahu square may be involved and therefore perhaps a time of 3.05 should be considered. This creates an ascendant of about 27 Leo. This has Saturn making its 3rd house aspect to the Ascendant while the Rahu-Ketu station at 28 Pisces-Virgo falls on the 6-12 equal house cusps.

And Leo works better for the Yankees because chart ruler Sun would then be in its highest degree of exaltation at 9 Aries. Perfect for the most successful sports franchise in the world.

Let's see how their fortunes improve once the nodes begin to move again later in May.
